Terms of service

These are the plain-language terms on which CTSMedia provides editing, scripting and content-management services. A written quote or retainer agreement for a specific project takes priority over anything here.

Quotes and payment

Work is quoted per project or per monthly retainer and confirmed in writing before it starts. Deliverables, revision rounds, turnaround and payment terms are set out in that quote. Unless agreed otherwise, retainers are billed in advance and one-off projects require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due on delivery.

Your material

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any footage, audio, music, images and text you send us, and that nothing in it infringes anyone else’s rights. You remain the owner of your raw material.

Deliverables and ownership

Once an invoice is paid in full, you own the finished deliverables we created for you. We may show completed work in our portfolio and on social media unless you ask us in writing not to. Project files, templates and internal working assets remain ours.

Revisions and turnaround

Each quote includes a set number of revision rounds; further changes or a change in scope are quoted separately. Turnaround times start when we have received all footage, briefs and access we need, and are estimates unless a fixed date is agreed in writing.

Cancellation

Retainers can be cancelled with written notice before the next billing date. Work already done on a one-off project is billable if you cancel part-way through.

Liability

We do our best work on every project, but we cannot guarantee platform performance, views, reach or revenue. Our total liability for any project is limited to the fees you have paid us for that project.
